The second training seminar to professional fishermen took place on Thursday the 13th and Friday 14th of October in Syros and Andros respectively for the purposes of CYCLADES LIFE. Fishermen, members of the Port Police of both islands as well as members of the Cyclades Fisheries Services of the Periphery of Southern Aegean were informed on:
- basic first aid techniques, dangerous fish for consumption and how to cope with common injuries that might occur on the boat, etc.
- the international regulation for avoiding collision and some basic principles of navigation and meteorology
- basic mechanical check before departure.
