While the breeding season of the Mediterranean monk seal is coming to an end, the biologists of MOm are analyzing the data collected during their field surveys and through the infrared digital cameras that they have placed in the monk seal pupping caves on the island of Gyaros. The ten newborn pups recorded this year confirm once more the importance of the Gyaros’ Mediterranean monk seal population.
