On Wednesday the 27th of May, at the small pittoresque village of Pitrofos at the heartland of Andros, the first training seminar for professional artisanal fishermen of Andros took place. Professional fishermen gathered to hear the presentation by WWF Greece and the Development Corporation of the Aegean on “legal and funding tools for sustainable fisheries for all”, on fisheries biology and sustainability but also to put forward their proposals, discuss their problems and get to know the CYCLADES LIFE team.
