The socio economic research that the Harokopio University undertook, for the purposes of the CYCLADES LIFE project, at the islands of Syros and Andros has been completed. Some quantitave and qualitative preliminary results of the research were presented by Professor A. Papadopoulos and the researchers of the University to the CYCLADES LIFE team, thus completing the preparatory reports of the project. The in situ research focused on three groups, for both islands ie the local population, the amateur and the professional fishermen. The findings will be used for the formulation of the Environmental Studies but will also will set the framework for the Consortium of Stakeholders.
